Welcome to CoachConnect! By accessing or using our app, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using CoachConnect, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

CoachConnect provides personalized fitness routines generated by AI. The app is for informational and general fitness purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice or a licensed personal trainer. Always consult your physician before starting any fitness program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or injuries.

4. Coach Chat

Purpose: Coach Chat is intended to provide personalised fitness coaching designed to support exercise consistency.

Not Medical Advice: Coach Chat does not provide:

Users should seek qualified healthcare professionals for medical or mental health concerns.

User Responsibility: Users remain responsible for making decisions about their health and exercise.

5. CoachConnect Nutrition

5.1 Eligibility. CoachConnect Nutrition is currently available only to users aged 18 or over. Before using personalised Nutrition features, you must complete the eligibility and safety questions honestly and accurately.

CoachConnect Nutrition is not currently intended for users whose circumstances require specialised or clinical nutrition care. CoachConnect may therefore restrict access to personalised Nutrition features where information provided indicates that the service is not appropriate. This may include, among other situations, pregnancy or breastfeeding, eating disorders or a history requiring specialist support, certain medical conditions, severe allergies, or other circumstances requiring individual medical or specialist dietary care.

Where CoachConnect Nutrition is not suitable, we may prevent creation of a personalised plan and recommend that you seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare or nutrition professional.

5.2 Purpose of CoachConnect Nutrition. CoachConnect Nutrition provides personalised nutrition guidance, meal-planning support and support for healthy habits. It is designed as a general wellness and nutrition service.

CoachConnect Nutrition does not provide:

The service does not replace advice from a doctor, registered dietitian or other healthcare professional where such advice is appropriate.

5.3 AI and Professional Review. CoachConnect uses artificial intelligence to prepare an initial draft nutrition plan based on the information you provide. The AI-generated draft is not delivered directly to you.

Before you receive a personalised plan, it is reviewed by a qualified nutrition professional engaged by CoachConnect. The reviewer may approve, modify, reject or request changes to the draft. Only an approved version is made available to you.

Requests for material changes to your nutrition plan may require a new review before the updated plan becomes available.

5.4 Information You Provide. The quality and suitability of your nutrition plan depend on the accuracy of the information you provide. You agree to provide complete and accurate information regarding matters relevant to your Nutrition plan, including allergies, intolerances, dietary preferences and answers to eligibility or safety questions.

You are responsible for checking food labels, ingredients and product information before consuming foods recommended or referred to in a plan, particularly where you have an allergy or intolerance.

If your health, medications, allergies, pregnancy status or other relevant circumstances change, you should not rely on an existing CoachConnect Nutrition plan where professional medical or dietary advice may be required.

5.5 Nutrition Plans and Results. Nutrition plans are personalised guidance based on the information available to CoachConnect and the reviewing professional at the time of review.

5.6 Reviews and Updates. The Nutrition service may include an initial reviewed nutrition plan and, depending on the subscription or product purchased, follow-up reviews, adjustments or check-ins. The exact features, review frequency, price and billing period included in your Nutrition subscription will be shown before purchase.

Estimated review or delivery times displayed within CoachConnect are targets rather than guarantees. If we are unable to provide the purchased Nutrition service within a reasonable period, you should contact CoachConnect support.

5.7 Payments and Subscriptions. Paid CoachConnect Nutrition services may be offered through Apple App Store or Google Play subscriptions or in-app purchases. The price, subscription period, included Nutrition features and renewal terms will be displayed before you complete the purchase.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the rules of the platform through which the subscription was purchased. You are responsible for managing cancellation of an App Store or Google Play subscription through the relevant platform where required.

5.8 Refunds. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights. Where a purchase has been made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests may be subject to the relevant platform's refund process.

If: CoachConnect determines after payment that you are not eligible to receive the personalised Nutrition service; CoachConnect is unable to provide an approved Nutrition plan; or CoachConnect is unable to provide a paid Nutrition service that you purchased, you may contact CoachConnect and we will provide or assist with the appropriate refund or other remedy.

Refund and cancellation rights required by applicable consumer law continue to apply regardless of these Terms.

5.9 Safety and Suspension of Nutrition Services. CoachConnect may pause, refuse or discontinue personalised Nutrition recommendations where we reasonably believe that continuing the service would be inappropriate or unsafe. Where appropriate, we may instead provide general educational information and recommend that you speak with a suitable healthcare or nutrition professional.

All content, branding, routines, and software in CoachConnect are owned by the developer or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the app without prior written permission.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any information you enter (e.g., training preferences, goals). By using the app, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this information solely to operate and improve the service.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violating these Terms or for suspected abuse. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at jrojas@coachconnect.fit.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

CoachConnect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of recommendations. We do not guarantee specific fitness outcomes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CoachConnect and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app.

12. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app or on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
