Getting a workout plan is relatively easy. Sticking with it when work, family, travel, injury, confidence or everyday life gets in the way is much harder. CoachConnect is being built to make personalised coaching accessible to more people and to help independent exercisers start, continue and return with more structure and less pressure.
CoachConnect began with personalised workout programming. As we tested the product and looked more closely at why people struggle with exercise, one thing became increasingly clear: generating the programme does not solve everything that happens afterwards.
People get busy. They miss sessions. Their schedule changes. They travel, lose confidence, need a shorter session, or find that restarting after time away feels harder than expected.
Those problems influenced the development of Coach Mode, Coach Brain, weekly check-ins, Short Session, Express Mode, Comeback Mode and Rescue Mode. The aim is to make the programme capable of changing when the user's circumstances do.
CoachConnect combines technology, structured training logic, user feedback and AI to provide more ongoing personalisation than a static workout plan. It is primarily designed for people who train independently and want guidance that can adapt over time.
A good human coach can directly observe movement, build a personal relationship and provide hands-on support that software cannot reproduce. CoachConnect is intended to make a more personalised form of independent training accessible to people who are not using one-to-one coaching, or to provide additional structure around their own training.
CoachConnect is built by a team with professional experience across software development, software quality, mobile products and technology. Juan and Franco each have more than ten years of experience in software and technology, including senior and lead QA roles. Juan's background includes Apple, Deezer and MAPFRE.
CoachConnect's training logic has undergone independent professional review against published training literature for an amateur and general-fitness audience. The review covered workout volume, session structure, progression, autoregulation, strength estimation, return-to-training logic, injury-related adaptations, exercise loading and progress feedback. It both supported parts of the approach and identified improvements that are being incorporated into the product.
CoachConnect also offers an optional nutrition service. Technology can assist with creating a personalised plan, but the plan is reviewed by a qualified nutrition professional before it is provided to the user. The service is intended for general nutrition and wellness support, not medical nutrition therapy.
